Don and I fell in LOVE with our first cairn terrier in 1989,,
We named her Sandee and quickly learned how smart Cairn Terriers are! She grew to be the best and smartest dog we ever had. Alert, quick,,and curious.
Sandee taught us to play ball, keep our things out of her reach and to be smart and run fast if she decided to run out the door,;D
When Sandee was 3 years old,,, we bought our first male, Mac..
Sandee and Mac gave us a beautiful litter of 8 puppies... and you know ? we loved them all.
We kept 3 girls and later bought our first Black male . and we were selling quality puppies to good family homes.;]
We have raised cairns for 22 years now ,,,and loved every minute of it.;]
We are 4 generations from our first pair Sandee and Mac... and we continue to love 'raising puppies in our home' .,, the old fashioned way... no cages,,, quality care and lots of hands on love...
The folks that have our cairn pups are usually Cairn Terrier lovers and in need of another baby to love. We understand this completely... Our Sandee and Mac have long been 'retired to Heaven' .. They're foot falls still echo in my Heart.
